The workshop aims to provide the basic guidelines for the use of digestate as a resource in fertigation.
The concepts of the sustainable and circular economy, desired by both consumer and legislator at EU level, are becoming increasingly significant in the agricultural world. “Smart” agriculture, as defined in the new European agricultural policy, cannot ignore the efficient reuse of the elements of fertility contained in the farms by-products. It is therefore essential and necessary to do this that farmers and technicians be aware of the technical innovations actually applicable.
